How to have a great technique?

Learning how to work out and have a great technique by yourself is a great skill.

Here are a few tips how to learn a technique by yourself: 

  1. Most important- remember that although we have guidelines for technique, sometimes the technique can be different from person to person by body type, abilities, flexibilities and etc.

  2. Before searching on social media about an exercise, try to ask yourself what is my goal. once you know your goal and your target muscle you will understand the movement. Once you understand the movement, you will understand the technique better.

  3. Ask and Understand- Where does the movement start and where does it end?

  4. Don't look in the mirror, but try to see in your eyes without actually looking how you want your performance to be.

  5. Film yourself! I know it's not always easy but once you film yourself, can actually look how you did the exercise and compare to what wanted it to look.
